So bit of a background story to bring you up to speed, We have decided to compile a list of pubs in the town we live in currently and then go to a different one week after week and have a pub style meal rate the meals on 6 criteria and just have a good time.
This week was our first outing the five of us met at O' Keefes pub ( http://www.okeefes.com.au/ ) mainly cause it was the easiest option to start with - cant say no to a $12 Chicken Parma and a 10 ounce of beer.
We decided on how we should rate every meal a six point checklist out of 10 which each of us completes then we take the average rating and this gives us the verdict on Presentation, Taste, Size,Cost/Value, Venue Vibe and the Service. It was decided that we should also run a timer from when the waitress/waiter leaves the table with the last order written and stop it when the last meal comes out. (starting next week)
So the first outing gave us a good base to start, four of us had the special which is a Chicken parma and 10 ounce of beer deal for $12! One had the Garlic Prawns $26.
The overall verdict on the $ 12 Chicken Parma ..

Pretty decent meal considering the price, definitely a pub meal was almost as if it was cooked at home by your Mum.
